Secretary of Employment Secretariat in the Public Service, on behalf of Monduli District Council, invites applications from qualified Tanzanians capable of filling seven (07) positions as specified in this announcement.

1.0 TEACHER GRADE IIIA POSITIONS – 07
1.1 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Prepare work schedules, lesson plans, lesson notes, and other assigned work plans;
ii. Develop and prepare instructional tools and materials;
iii. Teach, assess, and maintain records of student progress;
iv. Monitor and track student attendance in school and classroom;
v. Supervise students’ physical, mental, and spiritual development, providing counseling and guidance;
vi. Provide professional and academic advice on educational development;
vii. Supervise the maintenance of school equipment and assets;
viii. Teach and oversee adult education;
ix. Perform other duties assigned by the Head of School in line with school responsibilities.

1.1.2 APPLICANT QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must hold a Certificate of National Form IV Examination and have successfully completed two (02) years of teaching training from government-recognized teacher training colleges and been awarded a Grade A Teaching Certificate.

1.1.3 SALARY SCALE
In accordance with Government Salary Scales TGTS-B

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
i. Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged not exceeding 45 years, except for those already employed in the government sector;
ii. Persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply and must specify their disability in the job application system for information to the Public Service Employment Secretariat;
iii. All applicants must attach a certified copy of their birth certificate certified by a Lawyer/Attorney.
iv. Applicants who are already public servants and have obtained qualifications to switch to different cadres than those they currently hold must submit their application letters to their current employers for approval.
v. Applicants must attach a comprehensive Detailed CV containing a reliable address, phone numbers, and names of three reliable referees.
vi. All applications must be accompanied by certified copies of academic certificates, details, and certificates verified by a Lawyer/Attorney, including birth certificates, Form Four and Six certificates for those who have reached that level, and certificates for various training qualifications relevant to the job.
vii. “Testimonials”, “Provisional Results”, “Statement of Results”, Form IV and Form VI results slips WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
viii. Applicants who have studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates are verified and approved by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTE).
ix. Applicants retired from public service are not allowed to apply unless they have approval from the Chief Secretary.
x. Applicants currently employed in similar entry positions in the Public Service are not allowed to apply and must adhere to the directives in Circular No. CAC. 45/257/01/D/140 dated November 30, 2010.
xi. Legal action will be taken against individuals submitting falsified information and qualifications.
xii. The deadline for job applications is May 23, 2024.
