The Chief of the Tanzania Police Force is announcing job vacancies for young individuals with various educational qualifications including degrees, diplomas, certificates from Form Four and Form Six.
1. Applicant Requirements:
a) Must be a Tanzanian citizen by birth.
b) Must have graduated from Form Four or Form Six between the years 2018 and 2023.
c) Applicants from Form Four, Form Six, and those with certificates must be aged between 18 and 25.
d) For Form Four applicants, they must have achieved Division I to IV. Applicants with Division IV must have scored between 26 to 28 points.
e) Form Six applicants must have achieved Division I to III.
f) Graduates with degrees or diplomas must be aged between 18 and 30.
g) Must have a minimum height of 5 feet 8 inches for men, and 5 feet 4 inches for women.
h) Must possess a national identification card or identification number from the National Identification Authority (NIDA).
i) Must be proficient in speaking Swahili and English.
j) Must be physically and mentally healthy as certified by a government doctor.
k) Must be unmarried and without children.
l) Must have no history of drug use.
m) Must be ready to attend initial police training.
n) Must not be employed or previously employed by any other government institution.
o) Must be willing to work as a police officer anywhere in Tanzania.
p) Must be prepared to cover all expenses related to the recruitment process if called for an interview.
q) Must not have any body tattoos.
r) Must have no criminal record.
s) Applicants with higher education qualifications (degree, diploma, certificate) must possess specific disciplines as specified in the advertisement.
2. Application Procedure:
1. All applicants must write their own application letters by hand, including phone numbers, and send them to the Chief of Police at P.O. Box 961, Dodoma.
2. All applicants must submit their applications through the Police Employment System (TANZANIA POLICE FORCE – RECRUITMENT PORTAL) available on the Police website
3. The deadline for receiving applications is May 16, 2024.
